Distribution Centre Manager

Calgary, AB

Salary range offered is between $60,000-$65,000 depending on experience to start plus benefits 

8:00am-4:30pm

Monday - Friday

Our Cloverdale/ Langley offices are seeking an experienced Distribution Manager for their Calgary Distribution & Recycling Centre. The position manages the day-to-day operations of the facility, including distribution throughout the region.

The position is responsible for the management and flow of resources from origin to destination through the integration of trucking and warehousing, and coordinating the storage and movement of product through established distribution processes

There will be 6 direct reports to the position

Qualifications and experience:

• Require a minimum of 2 - 5 years managing logistics and distribution warehousing
• Must be detail oriented and have good math skills.
• Must communicate to all levels of an organization both written and verbally.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment in a safe and reliable manner.                  
•  Certified forklift ticket with experience would be an asset
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to perform under strict deadlines and in a stressful environment.
• Completion of grade 12 education
• A college diploma or university degree considered an asset
• Excellent communication and leadership skills and experience.
