Job Summary

Our Calgary branch is currently seeking an experienced Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position offers many opportunities to grow within our organization.

Main Responsibilities:

• Receive and tag incoming products accurately and in a timely manner, ship outgoing products with the same accuracy.
• Coordinate logistics, track orders, ensure paperwork is given to order desk for completed shipments, and maintain accurate shipping/receiving records.
• Advise order desk and/or Branch Manager if shop supplies or inventory items need to be ordered.
• Maintain shop housekeeping.
• Assist other shop staff when required.
• Deliver or pick up goods when necessary.
• Ensure security of vehicles, warehouse and yard at the end of each day.
• Receiving entries into computer based inventory system
• Coordinate US bound shipments

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of computers
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Excellent work ethic ,self-motivated, willing to work extra hours/emergency hours if needed
• 3+ years shipper/receiver experience
• Forklift certification ;* WHMIS certification;* Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification
• Valid Driver’s License
• Capable of lifting up to 50lbs
